All
of our surgeons are Board Certified or eligible for
certification. Your primary doctor discusses your healthcare
needs and refers you to the surgeon specializing in the area
of your need.
The
surgeon will assess your specific needs, and advise you if a
surgical procedure is appropriate for you. This discussion
will include the side effects, risks and desired outcome of
the surgery. This is a good time to have all your questions
answered. Please be prepared to talk about your health and
the health of your family members. It is important to tell
your surgeon about previous illnesses, surgeries, allergies
and the possibility of pregnancy. Please be sure to
tell your physician of all prescription and over-the-counter
medicines and any herbal supplements you take.
The
decision to have the surgery should be made in consultation
with your surgeon, primary doctor and family members.
Absolute confidentiality will be maintained throughout. Your
surgeon or the primary doctor will help you schedule your
surgery at the Rogers Park One Day Surgery Center |
